Welcome to Kalimpong Sewaro Tours and Travels. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of our travel services. By booking with us, you agree to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions.
1. Booking and Payment
- All bookings must be made through our official website, phone, or authorized agents.
- A deposit or full payment is required at the time of booking to confirm your reservation.
- The remaining balance must be paid in full before the commencement of the tour, as per the specified deadline provided during the booking process.
- We accept payments via credit card, debit card, bank transfers, and other recognized payment methods.
2. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation by the Traveler:
- Cancellations made more than 30 days before the tour departure will be eligible for a full refund, excluding any non-refundable deposits.
- Cancellations made 15-30 days before the departure will incur a 50% cancellation fee.
- Cancellations made less than 15 days before the departure will not be eligible for a refund.
Cancellation by Us:
- Kalimpong Sewaro Tours and Travels reserves the right to cancel a tour due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, etc.). In such cases, a full refund or alternative arrangements will be offered.
- Refunds will be processed through the original mode of payment within 14 working days.
3. Amendments to Bookings
- Any changes to your booking must be made in writing and are subject to availability.
- Amendments made 30 days or more prior to departure may be subject to an administrative fee.
- Changes made within 30 days of the tour date may incur additional charges or be considered a cancellation and rebooking, depending on availability and circumstances.
4. Travel Documents
It is the responsibility of the traveler to ensure that they have all the required travel documents, including valid identification, visas, and permits, prior to the commencement of the tour. Kalimpong Sewaro Tours and Travels will not be held responsible for any travel disruption caused by incomplete or invalid travel documentation.
5. Health and Safety
- Travelers are responsible for ensuring they are physically and mentally fit to participate in the activities included in the tour.
- We recommend that all travelers obtain comprehensive travel insurance, including coverage for medical emergencies and trip cancellations.
- Kalimpong Sewaro Tours and Travels follows standard health and safety measures during all tours. However, travelers are advised to take necessary precautions and follow instructions provided by the tour guides.
6. Liability
- Kalimpong Sewaro Tours and Travels shall not be liable for any personal injury, illness, accident, loss, delay, or damage to personal belongings during the trip, unless caused by the negligence of our employees.
- We shall not be responsible for any delays, cancellations, or changes in the itinerary due to natural disasters, weather conditions, or other external factors beyond our control.
7. Tour Itinerary
The tour itinerary is subject to change based on local conditions, weather, or other factors beyond our control. While we make every effort to adhere to the planned schedule, Kalimpong Sewaro Tours and Travels reserves the right to modify the itinerary without prior notice.
8. Code of Conduct
- All travelers are expected to maintain respectful behavior during the tour. Any traveler who behaves in a disruptive, dangerous, or illegal manner may be removed from the tour without a refund.
- Travelers are responsible for any damage they cause to property, vehicles, or accommodations during the trip and may be liable for the cost of repairs or replacements.
9. Complaints
Any complaints regarding our services must be brought to our attention immediately during the tour, so we can resolve the issue promptly. Complaints submitted after the tour must be made in writing within 14 days of the tour's conclusion.
10. Governing Law
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from your use of our services will be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Kalimpong, West Bengal.
11. Force Majeure
Kalimpong Sewaro Tours and Travels is not responsible for any cancellations, delays, or alterations to your travel arrangements caused by unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as natural disasters, political unrest, pandemics, or strikes.
12. Personal Data
Any personal data collected during the booking process will be used solely for the purpose of providing travel services. We do not share your personal data with third parties without your consent, except where required by law.
13. Special Requests
Special requests (e.g., dietary requirements, accommodations) should be made at the time of booking. While we will endeavor to fulfill these requests, we cannot guarantee that they will be met in all cases.
